Toastmaster Hawkesbury Open House – Mon. March 7, 2016

We talk to the Director of Public Relations for the Hawkesbury Toastmasters Club about an open house his club is hosting on Monday March 7th. Marc is starting his second year as a Toastmaster and says the club is holding the event to promote the benefits of Toastmasters: as an opportunity to learn effective communication techniques, build leadership abilities, improve self confidence, practice a second language and especially to meet new friends. At the open house, a modified version of a regular meeting will be held to demonstrate some of the different techniques used by the club. The event takes place from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, located at 152 Nelson St, in Hawkesbury.
